30 days vs 41 years? A video confession.
Posted by Moonhare on May 16, 2021 at 4:19 amhttps://youtu.be/VgUgZS9rDiQ I decided to post my terrible confession and 30 Day Challenge completion video all in one (see link above). I hope it shows that we’re all capable of learning again, even after decades of prevarication.

@Moonhare This was such a great video of your journey, and what a fantastic one it has been. I’m so glad you were able to be there for your friend, Chewy. What a great testament of love and support. Keep at it, and based on your background there is no doubt you will pick it up rapidly. Maybe in a year you can post a true guitar testament to your friend. Keep on plunking!!

@Moonhare creative vid! As I was watching I heard a choir of angels singing “And the truth sets another one free”. Wishing you fast progress toward your goals.
The dust on the guitar….CLAASSSIC. A little dampness and I am sure you would have had moss.

Hello @Moonhare , that was a great story and a great video. Sorry to hear about your friend – my sympathy to you and his family. On a brighter note, the T-shirt and pick are an awesome symbol of commitment and determination – Don’t Stop! The pain on the fingertips will go away at some point😎
-
Yeah. No pain, no gain eh? Thanks for taking the time out to reply. Appreciated.

Thanks so much Heather. We all have to start somewhere – I just can’t believe I left it so long!

Inspirational, @Moonhare , and yes, you clearly have a love, and are finding the joy. Welcome to TAC, and I, personally look forward to following along with you on your Journey.
By the way, the other part of my Journey that you have nailed solid is the comfort in front of others, and the tech chops with recording and editing. Someday you may find that you can help a lot of us there, as well.
Great to meet you.

Thanks for that @attyT. I’m already starting to realise what a supportive group this really is. As you can see I’ve let it slide for too long getting into playing. (Even I was shocked when I ran my finger across that guitar!). Always happy to help out with recording tips – it’s why I started my Moonhare Studio YouTube channel.

Glad to meet you and hear a little bit of your story. You must have some awesome stories from you long keyboard career. Looking forward to seeing more of your posts and sharing your guitar journey.
-
Hey thanks you for that – I’m looking forward to meeting others on the TAC too. I am hoping one day to hold my own on guitar amongst you all!

Dabblers Anonymous cracked me up!!-
Thank you so much. I’m getting so much out of this and looking forward to progressing on to the daily challenges before too long. Music should never be a chore and that’s clearly what Tony understands and why I chose to join TAC.

Thank you. You are so right. No time like the present to start doing something new. Can’t wait for the day my fingers stop hurting though!
