Very interesting. Very interesting, indeed.

Welcome back.
I don’t work each day’s lesson until “I get it.” I work each day until, a) ten minutes has expired, or b) if I really like it, I start smiling while playing, or c) until something more interesting crosses my fingers.
Not all of these ideas of Tony’s interest me (at least not yet), and not all of it is needed by me to enjoy the guitar journey and see my own progress.
Joy is easy to identify. After 10 minutes: No joy equals “Move on to something else.”

Welcome to TAC, and you serve that Pat on the back. None of this is simple, but a little each day make it quicker.

@ChuckS has a good option. It can be a longer search unless you are in a populous area.
You might post here where you are and what you are trying to do, and other TACster are likely to reach out if close.

Thank you all.

Thank you one and all. She encourages me, and turns out she likes what I write for her, so all is good. See you all soon, I hope.

Like many of us inTAC, you are here to grow, and in that process, you appear to have a lower than perceived by others opinion of your progress. It is certainly clear why you love the guitar, but for me, the guitarist is the real win in this video. Great Job, and a hard song to finger pick was handled extremely well. Nice voice, too.

Thank you Marty and Terry.

+1, and no drill need be damaged in the process.
-
+1 for an excellent summary. It’s hard, well it’s hard, so Hard.

The neck on this one is from a tree harvested from my in-laws place when a Koa had to be removed from their roof in Hana, Hawaii. I love this guitar.
The rest you can find on the internet.
A photo of her is my Avitar above.
