Love Jim Croce. Very nice playing.

Nice steady strumming. Changes are clear and crisp unlike my playing on this song. You are an inspiration!

Way to step up to the plate or mic. What did you play?

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. It is an easy playing guitar but I still need to work on that B Chord and bar chords.

What beautiful playing. I want to buy your CD when it comes out. Are you playing coffeehouses?

Rudy, thanks for your inspiring comments. I started playing 50 years ago. I too am a slow study on the guitar. Since my return, 822 TAC lessons later, I can play a full F, B minor, C minor and a few other bar chords. I struggle with transitions but they are improving. Every time I think about playing the “mini” cord I figure if I suffer through the bar chords eventually they will come. Glad to hear your enjoying TAC.

I played along with your strumming almost like a backing track and sounded pretty good. Thanks!

Glad to see this thread is still active. I haven’t pulled the plug and bought anything yet. I am still thinking the Presonus would be the best. Life is getting in the way. Garage door fell apart. The deck rotted out and we crashed through about 6 inches to the dirt. On top of that, both my wife and I ended up in ER for a short stay. I do have some positive news on a new guitar but that will wait until Wed.

Loraine, very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. Hang in there! You are a beacon of truth and inspiration. I always search out your posts because I know you write from the heart. Congrats on your TACiversary.

Amazing. The first 2 members I picked had no favorites. Then I found guitar lover and jackpot. Worked like a champ. I save about 80% and tabs if someone needs something. There are days I forget to save.

Hey Ovid,
I’m a career educator, retired after 45 years of service. I approached teaching as a life style choice often working 60 + hours per week. Providing things like Saturday field trips to the local quarry to look for trilobites, or after school guitar club, Lock-ins, leadership weekends, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) dances, pizza parties, Outdoor Education, Thanksgiving Feasts, Election Night Parties, extended field trips to 9:00 p.m., was just part of the process. I believe when you are a teacher you don’t punch a time clock.
I feel good about my donations of time and money for the betterment of education for children. Not a chance I’m selling my new guitar to buy instruments for kids. I’m wondering if you weren’t projecting a need maybe you have to step up and volunteer. Go for it!

Did Tony have the dart board and guitar giveaway or is that another lost feature?
