Operator Instrumental (Jim Croce) by Marty69
Posted by Marty73 on August 7, 2021 at 1:52 pmI haven’t heard anyone cover any Jim Croce songs. I have to admit, some are complicated but I like his style. Plus I believe there are two acoustic guitars being used on a few of his recordings.
This recording took me a few takes to get. Hope you all enjoy. 😊🧙♂️😎

Great rendition @Marty69 👏👏👏 How do you like that thumb pick compared to the BM? I find that single piece style to be uncomfortable, it squeezes my fat thumb too much😱
-
Hay Bill, BM pick still moves on me so I went with the Zookies M-20. on this recording. It has a slight bend at the tip. You’re right, it is tight on the thumb but it’s lock in good and I like that. 😊🧙♂️😎

Great Tune @Marty69 ! I like Jim Croce very much. Most of his songs have 2 guitarists playing. I am currently working on learning “I’ll Have to Say I Love You in a Song” and amazingly enough nearly every chord in the song I have never played until learning that song!
-
Thank you Charlie, and yes “I’ll Have to Say I Love You in a Song” is a hard one! Croce love to use strange chords. Can’t wait to hear it! 😊🧙♂️😎
