As TerryG said; each day you do that challenge as best you can for whatever period of time you decide to practice; then move on. Each week you will be going through the 5 essential skills. The specific lessons may be different from week to week (though as she mentioned, some repeat); but the skills and techniques you are learning do repeat through the various lessons every week. You will see that in time, your skill in each area increases. You will surprise yourself.
When I first started, the thought of doing a whole song half way decent by memory; whether chords, finger picking, or flat picking; seemed impossible. Through developing my skill in the techniques taught weekly; I am able to do so now. It builds over time with consistency and sticking with the process. I was so encouraged when I could play through the many chords of Hotel California (with bass lead ins), in a proper order, and with decent timing. It hit me that though it seemed like I was not gaining much at times day to day; it was indeed happening. Enjoy the journey, and you will see you can play.

Yes; as Moose408 said; download, set to unlisted; then make a post in the Forum section of TAC. Write a title and description; then copy and paste the link. I have found it challenges me, and has helped with progress.

Definitely a win! When they hear you practicing every day, sometimes the same thing; it is hard for them to have passion for your passion. That is great.

We all start out at a place where the fingers hurt, aren’t as flexible as desired, and don’t go where we want (or as quickly as we’d like). Over time, with consistency and repetition, it comes around. I started at an older age, 67, and been in TAC about 4.67 years. I can’t believe what I can do now, as compared to where I started. I will never be great; but I can play some things. I have improved. It seems like such small, incremental steps at times; but keep at it and you will surprise yourself. Enjoy the journey!

Nice! I am an America fan and saw them in Prescott Valley, AZ in August. That one was written by Dan Peek, who left us far too young. Thank you!
