When observing a lot of live performers, I’ve noticed many don’t play and sing at the same time, or as noted by others the strumming or even what they play may change when they sing. If they played both parts in the studio, they probably recorded separate tracks. I am extra amazed by live performers I see who can do both simultaneously. For what it’s worth, here’s something I was taught. Not saying I can execute it though! 😉 I was told to learn the singing and playing separately before combining them. When you have the playing of it nailed, (which it sounds like you do) before you add singing, play the song and have a conversation with someone. Don’t try and sing until you can play the song ‘perfectly’ while having that conversation. If you can do that, you should be able to add the singing no problem.

Welcome to the TAC family @MadMax89. @Lorraine is spot on with her comments. Before jumping into the daily challenges, I recommend completing some of the skill courses first. Specifically, 30 Days to Play, 5 Day Guitar Routine, and TAC quick start. I thought I knew enough guitar to jump right into the daily challenges, but I had a number of false starts with the program until I did the skill courses I mentioned. I did more than one lesson per day and got thru the courses fairly quickly. Once I did that, the daily challenges and the TAC concept made more sense, and I have been consistent with the program since. Welcome and trust the process. Tony is a master at providing content that works for the beginner to the seasoned player.

Hey @Chris99, I echo @Joet comments re Sweetwater, having had great experience and easy returns regardless of reason. Did you get contacted by a Sales Engineer? Years ago, after my first purchase, I was assigned a Sales Engineer. I’ve done all my subsequent purchases directly thru him, which definitely ups the customer service experience I suspect. He spends as much time on the phone with me as necessary to discuss potential orders and then follows thru from delivery to after care.

Nice explanation Kona_Bruce! As a point of clarification, this month’s daily challenges are available all weekend until midnight on Sunday. Not sure what time zone, my guess would be mountain time.
