I liked your approach on this one @Kitman 👍👍 sticking completely with the technique (hammer-ons/pull-offs) we were given while playing the notes of the scale around this backing track🤩🎸 Great work – I say “To Albert”🍻👏👏👏

1K is a great achievement @DonTheMyth 🤩👏👏 Keep it going👍 I think checking into the VOM’s might yield some names of people in your area that may want to jam in person🤔 I’m in W.PA and I’d love to do something in person with people in this area, but I hesitate to reach out because of COVID – there’s always some new variant out there. I’m not in the best of health so I can’t afford the risk.

Very nice @charlie_d 🤩👏👏 I like all the slides you used and the melody (particularly in the range of the D, A & loE strings) you played was pleasing to the ear IMHO👍

I know this may sound crazy @the-old-coach , but have you considered a Ukulele? I would imagine they would be easy to come by in Hawaii. They are tuned (an octave higher) the same as the hi 4 strings of a guitar (D, G, B & hiE strings) and the chord shapes used on a ukulele are exactly how you would place your fingers on those hi 4 strings of a guitar.

Hi @sahardellamorady , Buenos Aires sure is a long way from Germany. Have you been able to find a music store in Buenos Aires? If so, you should see what they have available, (most importantly) what feels right in your hands, and how does it sound. I don’t know of any guitar manufacturers in South America, but if you can find a music store that sells guitars, go there and hold the guitars that interest you in your own hands. Experience for yourself how they feel in your hands, how well (or easy) they are to play, and what type of sound they make.

    Best of luck!

Yes @Mrfredsporty , E minor is the relative minor of G major. A relative minor is the minor chord that occupies the 6th scale position of a major scale. So you should also be able to play the C & D major chords within the E minor pentatonic scale and get it to sound nice. The A minor, B minor and E minor chords should work in there as well. The E minor and G major scales have the same notes/chords, they just start in different scale positions.
