Congratulations @subsailor731 👍 on that small win. Hopefully you’ll have many more along your journey.
A bit of advice, if I may, always keep a couple of things in mind while walking along the path:
Mastery is not the goal here. If you come across a lesson that you tried to do but it’s too hard, it’s OK. If anything, you should come away with an understanding of what the lesson was about and you can always come back to it another time (if you want). In other words, don’t let perfection (or lack of it) get in the way. Baby steps, you have to learn to walk before you can run.
Always keep it fun. This is a key point in the fundamentals of TAC. If you’re having fun learning & playing, then you’ll always want to pick up the guitar every day, even when it’s hard to find the time. If you’re not having fun, then you need to take a break, give it a rest – come back to it later (I’m talking about any lesson that you come across here) – move on to the next thing.
Best of luck along the journey subsailor731😎👍🎸🎼

Such a wonderful cover @BethL 👏👏👏 Great song choice to share, and enjoyed your performance (chef’s kiss😘)

Great playing @Marty69 👏👏👏 I couldn’t make out all the chords that you used🧐 so it was a little harder for me to play along today, but I still had fun👍😎 I settled on G major scale notes (because you opened with the G chord) and played from 5th fret D string through to the 15th fret hiE string🤩 Not everything I played meshed with your chord progression😱, but I feel I got some riffs to sound good😎Thanks for posting Marty🙏, I enjoyed it🤘

Hey @Cadgirl , I don’t remember when I started doing it (maybe this past winter), but every time @Marty69 posts a video, I grab my guitar and try to do some improv over Marty’s track using scale notes in whatever key he’s playing (if I can figure it out – sometimes I’m just guessing based on the opening chord). It’s a lot of fun for me and good practice too.🤩🎸🎼
