Hi @PaPaKilo You previously purchased Fretboard Wizard either when you joined or during one of the open enrollments. If someone does not purchase Fretboard Wizard when they first join, then they won’t have access to it until one of the rare open enrollments (previously twice a year, but now going on about 1 1/2 Years since the last enrollment. If you previously purchased Fretboard Wizard, then you have lifetime access to it, and when the updated course is released and offered, you’ll be able to automatically access it.

It’s such a great feeling when we obtain the finger dexterity and muscle memory. Keep up the great work @llamajacks !

Absolutely beautiful rendition of Shallow – one of my favorites. Great intonation!

Thank you so much @Jonathandavid ! I’m not sure I’ll ever master playing and singing at the same time, but I’ll keep trying.

@Mrfredsporty Great use of some downtime while your guitar’s in the shop! I’m sure you’re finding some gems in the sites recommended by Tony.

Hi @Carnelia – You made it back, and you asked a great question because you were overwhelmed – 2 great wins!
As for the daily lessons, shoot for progress, not perfection. All the lessons during a week build upon each other, so you’ll be improving your skills just by moving forward. I personally play the minimum of 10 minutes and then mark a lesson complete. Sometimes I’ll spend a little more time on it, but not much. Or I’ll favorite a lesson I might want to incorporate into my practice or revisit at a later time. But, all the lessons rotate back around about every 8 months or so, and you’ll be able to see your progress on it. I guarantee that you’ll improve just by following this recipe.

I know your background played a lot into your progress, but I still find it amazing the skill sets you’ve acquired in such a short time. You have a gift Darren, and we’re the lucky recipients of your art. Looking forward to the next year to see where it leads you on your journey.

Always think this is a tough backing track, but you did great. Single notes are definitely the way to go on this one.

@Dean-Staff We’ve all had moments of frustration and discouragement. Life tends to have a funny way of derailing our best intentions. I agree with @Moonhare . This isn’t a race. Just do the best you can, even if it’s just practicing a chord or two for a minimum of 10 minutes per day. Everything you’ve already learned is still there and you just need to revisit it for it to come back to you.

Congrats on your 1st TACiversary @Moonhare ! I can’t believe a year has gone by. I remember when you joined and your first video. You really have come so far so quickly. Looking forward to another year.

Awesome win @Greg_F_Lee ! Those barre chords are many peoples nemesis’, but once you find the sweet spot, it gets easier and easier each time. You now know it’s possible, so don’t become discouraged if you find it difficult to do it again. Keep at it, and you’ll get there again.

@the-old-coach I completely understand being overwhelmed with trying to navigate YouTube and to set up account. I tend to just start clicking on things until I get it right. That being said, I was able to successfully set up a YouTube account and have successfully shared videos. I’d be happy to do a video Zoom session with you if that would help. If interested, please send me a private message with your availability and I’ll set up the Zoom video call.
