Hi @KevinAppel and @Emjaye and welcome to the TAC community! The program teaches practice routine and foundational skills and by continuing to practice you’ll be able to apply those skills to playing actual songs.

Hey @Philb , I’m sorry you’re having difficulty lately. I have tennis elbow and tendinitis in my fretting arm, so it’s a little different. But, I do know that you should not try and play through any pain or discomfort if it could be tendinitis or carpal tunnel. My suggestion is to see an orthopedic doctor and have it checked out. They might be able to give you a cortisone shot to alleviate the pain. You might also have developed some arthritis.

Hi @saskia Hammer ons and Pull-offs can be challenging. Here’s the Skills course Tharp should help you. https://tonypolecastro.com/courses/fretting-hand-toolbox/

@kurtv Welcome to the TAC community! The 30 days to play is a great starting point, and after that the next 6 chords. The daily challenges are Monday – Friday, and they are another great way to integrate into your practice plan. I’m not sure if the planner is editable. You can save it as a pdf or copy and paste into a word document and edit that way. As for website suggestions, I would contact Support by using the link at the bottom left.

Hi Nick – Great question. The daily challenge is meant to be tried to the best of your ability. Some will be easier than others and 10 minutes will be plenty of time. Also, the dailies recycle and typically they seem easier the next time they cycle, because you will have advanced in your skills by the time the next round happens. My suggestion is to give it at least 10 minutes per day, and then mark it complete. You can continue to practice it as long as you wish. It’s all about progress, not perfection and learning different skill sets and being rounded in your knowledge and skills.

Very nice win @MikeGaurnier ! This was a tough one that I wasn’t able to slay. Maybe next go around.
-
Good win @Alphajim5 ! I’ve been known to quit and walk away when things seemed too difficult, but TAC has definitely instilled perseverance in me.
