Hi Daniel – I’ve had a few posts disappear or not post, but it is sporadic. My suggestion is to contact TAC Support.

Welcome to the TAC community @markeads !

I agree with @Guy_H to take it piecemeal, and break things down into bite size pieces. I have to be honest that I didn’t memorize the fretboard or try to remember where all the notes were when I went through FBW. It was too overwhelming my first time through. One good thing about is that you own the course and can revisit it as often as necessary. Many people take the course yearly. I agree with Guy that you don’t want to take on too much. If taking lessons and FBW are too much, try to focus on one or the other for the time being. Good luck with it, and remember everything’s meant to be fun.

Welcome back @Side_B ! Glad you were able to find your way back, and that you had some fun with it. Sometimes we need a break, but try to focus on the 10 minutes per day (and slightly shorter breaks).

@stevieb. Im not sure exactly which lesson you’re referring to, but just give it your best try and mark it complete. Things will eventually get easier, and the goal isn’t to perfect it, especially if you’re new to it. All the daily lessons come back around about every 8 months, and you’ll be amazed the 2nd time through what you can do without nearly as much effort. For now, throw out the counting and just go with what sounds and feels good.

Sweetwater has a 30 day no hassle return policy, but it can’t hurt to call them and see if they’ll exchange it. I would stop playing it if your rotator cuff is bothering you. Your old tear may have healed and now retorn or you might have tendonitis. Suggest you go to your doctor for follow up if it is that bothersome.
