Welcome to the TAC community @jason-ashley ! Great to have you here. Looking forward to seeing you in the forums.

Way to go @Timbothirroul ! 600 playing sessions is nothing to sneeze at! Keep it up!
As for streaking, keep it to playing sessions and TAC lessons please. At my age, I have absolutely no desire to even look if you do the other kind of streaking – hahahaha

Great job, especially with bass picking. Great pick and fretting accuracy. Chords sang out clear, and vocals came through clear; would like to hear a little more vocal expression. This is coming fro someone that speaks and sings with a flat affect – LOL, but I’m working on it. Tape yourself as often as you can, and try to match the affect of the original artist. Overall, just fantastic though. Keep up the great work!

@Puppy You definitely got the gist of the lessons. Great speed and accuracy. It was great to hear it all played back-to- back..

@TMutter Terry, I think back to what I consider to be just a short time ago )feels like yesterday), and your playing, lyrics, as well as your vocals have improved exponentially. What a difference from the beginning where your vocals and playing were much flatter, and your topics were all based on recent losses. You allow your mind to be show you so many visions or to hear a lyric or create a poem, which most do not have the capability, because we have restraints placed on us by people, groups, religious organizations or other institutions, and political parties. Most of us are prisoners to the poison of society and limitations that are placed on us. Ilove your creativity in your lyrics, as well as your composition of chords fo so many Somgs. How you’re able to pull things together so quickly blows my mind. I’m not trying to place you on a pedestal, but your definitely a few steps on the grand staircase of guitar journeys than I am.
Just a joy to listen to and watch. I really hope your talents take you someplace big.. Awesome work!

Very well done @charlie_d ! I liked the entire thing. There were a few notes in a row in a few places that just sounded so good together.

Thanks so much @outdoorgator ! I think when they’re fun to play, tough goes out the window in small increments.

@MMMURRAY It’s nobody or no things fault whatsoever. Hammer ons take practice. You build up finger strength as you keep trying (and do the Technique courses focused on building finger strength). Make sure you have enough arch in your wrist so that the hammer on finger comes straightdown on the string. If you can actually fret the string and hear a note, then there is nothing wrong with the guitar. It is simply ensuring proper technique and building up strength to come straight down with enough force (not hurricane force, just a solid strike with the finger), and it will eventually ring out. It simply takes time and practice. Hang in there!

You’re a much better person than I would be in that situation. I would have found the friend to be responsible for it. I have GS Mini Koa, and it sounds and plays great. What a shame. Will you get a new one?

I’m envious @albert_d ! What a fantastic trip, and to meet so many accomplished people in their elements. Would be so great. I knew Dom and Sharon and Tony were going, but I didn’t know the others would be going too.
Isn’t Chicago a great city? There is so much to do, and the music there is just unbelievable. I’m seeing Buddy Guy this week, and he’s a Chicago native. He has his bar, Legends there, and I’ve seen and sung with him and Jim Belushi years ago when he shoved a microphone in my face and said sing something. I’m not even sure what came out of my mouth – I was that shell shocked. But the lake front, the restaurants, and the music, and the people make Chicago a great place. I miss the mid-west temperament, friendliness, and fun seekers there. That’s where I lived the longest, I raised my daughter there, and I went to 2 1/2 years of high school and college there, and all my cousins and remaining Aunts still live there or in Indiana. Just a fun time every time I visit. My best friends still live there, and we talk every week, and I’ve been in Philly over 19 years now. I don’t have much family left, so I gravitate to my cousins a lot.

Hi @Fraza Click on my photo or user name and go to my profile. Then click on my favorites and all of them will come up. Scroll to find the name of the lesson.

Hey Bea @Beatrice It is so good to see and hear from you. I feel like our paths rarely cross any more. I miss the interaction. Thank you so much for your kind words!

Thanks @Booker ! Yeah, I was always fascinated by the song – not only the tune, but the lyrics, and possibly the atmosphere we lived in back then.

Summers can get in the 90s and even in the 100s, and it can be very humid. It’s a shorter Summer than the southern or eastern, mid Atlantic areas, and yes the Winters can be rough sometimes. There is lake effect snow that can make accumulations increase significantly . It’s cold, wet, and windy (although many believe it’s called the Windy City because of its politics – haha). Things don’t shut down when there are several inch’s. People just deal with it. There are 4 seasons like you said. Might be fun though, because there is so much to do year round.

I really appreciate you listening @Greg_Weber and for your comments. White Rabbit was a fun and challenging one, because the strum was odd and the song had the F#, it the song was a great one to practice transitioning. Thanks so much Greg!
