@speckpgh Thank you. Not much progress on chords. Probably the position or posture of my fretting hand or the left arm (the left wrist and elbow) is not quite right. I haven’t found a comfortable way to fret those chords. Still trying to adjust……

@Loraine Thank you for the timely inputs. I will try to pick/strum more lightly. Do you have an idea how long a pick can be used before replacement? Or when should a pick be replaced – when it shows any wear?

@Loraine @MikeGaurnier The friction problem seems to still exist today. Now I kind of doubt it’s a picking problem. I noticed a weird thing – the outer edge (the side that is farther away from the right hand during picking) of the pick got wearing away (please see the attached picture). If a player is picking correctly, what should the pick look like after use? Does my pick picture tell that I’m picking a wrong way? Thank you both.
