Such an awesome tune!
Very Cool Song! A Must If You Like The Blues!
Love this song!! Easier to learn then I expected.
Cool song to learn and to play. I’ve got all sections. But now I must work to join some of them correctly, and also to get the good rythm and correct speed. I think the harder part of the job begins now.
Thanks Tony, I don’t know many blues songs to play, and this one makes me believe I can play some.
Bernard,
You absolutely can!!! This one is a great start 🙂 Great job working through the parts!!!
Cheers,
Tony
Totally awesome!
I play a lot of Robert Johnson tunes and Detroit Moan fits right in the mix perfectly.
Glenn,
Awesome!!! I am pumped you dug this tune and that it fits in with what you currently have in your repertoire!!! Excellent!!!
Cheers,
Tony
Whoa! Worked on the final two sections for three hours this morning and have the song memorized now. Coming together nicely. I love this arrangement and a totally new song to put into my repertoire. Getting ready to record. I love that Delta Blues sound. Kudos Tony.
Reggie,
Nice job!!! I am glad you dig the arrangement and that the song has found it’s way into your repertoire!!! I am excited to hear the recording!!! Great work!!!
Cheers,
Tony
So fun! The syncopation. The bluesy sound. It’ll take quite a while for me to work on tying the sections together and performing, but I can tell this will help my skills. Thanks!
Mark,
You are welcome!!! This was a fun tune to arrange and I am glad you like the syncopation 🙂 Definitely a bluesy one for the repertoire 🙂
Cheers,
Tony
