  1. Focusing on working on this one all week. I like it and even though I extend my index on certain chords, It’s funny how my index feels the burn on this one grabbing the F note on the high E string.

    1. Mark,

Awesome that you are focusing on this one this week!!! The more you work through it and develop that muscle memory your index finger won’t burn so much 🙂

      Cheers,
      Tony

  2. Digging deep into the archives on this one. Very Special. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Tom Rush recorded a song called “Moles Moan” back in the sixties. Played in G tuning. Not a blues tune but also very cool as is “Detroit Moan”.

  3. Cool tune! I probably should not have started working on it until finishing some others, but couldn’t resist. Love the bluesy sound. Way different feel from what we’ve been playing. Feels like this should have a sort of swing to it when you play.

      1. Mark,

Indeed, those first pickup notes are on the four beat so if you were counting the rhythm it would sound like: 4-a-let, 1 & 2 & 3 & 4. I hope that helps… that of course describes it if you are playing it very square with no swing.

        Cheers,
        Tony

    1. Mark,

This tune will welcome the swing with open arms 🙂 It almost begs to be played with a swing, I say go for it, and I am glad you jumped right into this one 🙂

      Cheers,
      Tony
