Fingerpicking win!
Little bit of a backstory: I’ve played around with the guitar for several years but decided in the last few months that I was going to truly dedicate myself to learning the instrument. I am a recent addition to TAC and I have already learned more during my short time than I did in all of the previous years. I made the decision that I wanted to start learning how to finger pick and actually play whole songs. One of those songs was fast cars by Tracy Chapman and tonight during my practice sessions I actually played through the entire song! I know the section is called small wins but it’s a huge win for me! Now that I’m learning and surpassing goals I can’t seem to put my guitar down!
It’s amazing to me how with dedication in practice you seem to just wake up with additional dexterity and the ability to do things previously thought impossible! So glad I joined!
