@Tom000-18 excellent performance. Your fretting hand is so smooth transitioning chords, and your picking was very good.

Thank you Loraine for listening and your encouragement,

Great job! I really enjoyed that. One of my favorites also.

Simply beautiful playing. Man this really hits the mark for me. I think we’re swapping songs to learn!! 🤟😎🎸

Hello Darren, thanks for the kind words. On YouTube Steve Winwood does a fantastic acoustic version playing in front of a stone fireplace. It inspires!

Such soothing and smooth playing of a tune by one of my all-time favorite bands! Thank you @Tom000-18

Fantastic rendition @Tom000-18 love this song! I actually have learning “Can’t Find My Way Home” as a goal for this quarter. I’ve just started to research and found 3 different tunings; Standard, Drop D, and Open D. Looks you’re using Drop D. Curious if you tried the other tunings, and Drop D was your preference? I’ll check out the Winwood video you referenced.

Hello Ted_d, Thank you for the nice feedback. I used double drop D as my favorite as I like the sound. Drop D is really good too. I encourage you to learn this song because it is fun to play and you don’t have to be a speed demon. Personally I gravitate to music with a few cool notes from the heart if you know what I mean. I look forward to hearing your version!

I could hear all of the care you took to render this fine song. “You are the reason I’ve been waiting so long….” and so much more of the poetry came to mind. Thanks for taking this to a very high level!

CamCan, that is really meaningful feedback re. hearing the lyrics! That is the hope right! I am feeling them when I play and to hear others hear it too is awesome!

Hello LisaA, first it is great to hear “brand new” here! I truly believe you are in the right place. I have always loved music but seriously felt I was musically impaired. But, it did not stop me from trying and the persistence has paid off. Just look at the wonderful comment I got from you! Thank You!

Super well done. Your fingerpicking is superb. Also a trip down memory lane. So many good songs from that era.

Bugmeist, glad you liked it. Agree that was a fantastic era of music. Through TAC I am learning new artists and these are good times too!

Really really well played Tom. I always loved this tune and was inspired to learn it as well when I came across that acoustic version by Winwood.
