Here is a Blues song I wrote based on a blues shuffle. I wrote it when Covid was hitting hard thinking we all rely on music and I wanted to be thankfull hope you like it.

  Thanks @Loraine I came up with this so I had a blues practice song and it was just fun to do and nice thing about original music is I can change it all I want add things as I learn them no one should be upset because its mine ha ha😆

  Thanks @Bill_Brown glad it got your feet stomping too bad they call it the blues becuse it picks a person up people like you and others here pick me up when you give encouragement it motivates a person to keep on pickin people in my family have been very sick and I know that music has kept me going so once again thanks for stopping by

  Hey @Bill_Brown I wrote a song to a backing track and sang it but used an electric guitar so I could make the bends talk it is a slow blues song I did it awhile back do you think my posting it will take away from the acoustic intent of this site. I have seen others post electric improv in the past but dont want to upset anybody its just using the blues setting on my electric system gets more sauce to the sound but it has been awhile since I saw any electric posts

Hi @KevinZ , IMHO guitar is guitar, right? Electric, acoustic, 6 string, 12 string, it’s still a guitar! And I think the intent of this Forum, “Play For Us”, is about members being able to post a performance that they’d like other members to see and hear, regardless of the genre of music or type of guitar. That’s my opinion Kevin, and I think the best way to get an opinion from others is to post and see what they have (or don’t have) to say. I for one, can’t wait to see your post👍👍
