Xiao Bai Second TACiversay!
Feb 5 was my second TACiversay and though belated, here are my reflections on another year with TAC and since I joined in 2020.
When I went out to the local Bank of China on Xi San road, just hours after seeing some long haired, bearded douchebag, JOKE OF COURSE!, promoting his method for people to rediscover their passion for playing guitar, I KNEW I had to become a member.
Within a year, my joy and enthusiasm for guitar had returned. I couldn’t believe it. At the first milestone on my ji ta (Chinese for guitar) journey, TACiversay number one, I knew I was embarking on a life changing method to becoming the guitarist and musician I wanted to be.
So, the second TACiversay is here. What’s happened? Where next?
My technique is now solid and though obvious improvements are needed, I KNOW IMPROVEMENTS WILL INDEED COME.
Where next? My band, Iena Express. A kind of light indie trio with hints of blues and funk. A three record group which is my own idea. Once those records are done, IE will finish.
Many years ahead for that but without Tony or his inspirational website, it wouldn’t ever have begun. Now it has. The first song, ‘The Drive In’ is being written. Hopefully will pluck up the courage to ask my buddies to start the band; the beginning of something special… IENA EXPRESS! ❤️❤️❤️

I like it, especially the three record thing. (I note that there is sufficient ambiguity in the defining terms to make your eventual success overwhelming.).
Keep at it. I look forward to hearing IE and appreciating the music.
