Had a great opportunity to put on a Zoom Concert which was a a huge lesson in preparing a set list, rehearsing it, and then performing in front of an audience.

One step closer to that first live performance. I played 13 original songs and added a couple more at the end of a Q&A session. I learned so much during this process. One big nugget was the reality that practice does not make perfect as much as being prepared to play through mistakes when they happen and try to not miss a beat. (only had one restart but that was more emotion than technique 😆)

@TMutter It was an honor to celebrate with you on your momentous night. You were extremely prepared, didn’t let the nerves get to you, were a great story teller and your performance was enjoyable to watch and listen to. Great performance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to witness it!

  Thanks Tom. The zoom open mics activity started out on TAC as a result of the pandemic but have since transitioned over to a different forum called Just Music Geeks since that is not the focus of TAC.
