My First TACIVERSARY
Posted by Guitargeezer on March 31, 2022 at 6:17 amA year ago I joined TAC on this date. I’ve had 360 playing sessions since that time. One of the best investments I have made. My TAC routine is now automatic. With renewal I opted to have a lifetime membership. The instruction by Tony has been exceptional over this past year. The TAC community encouragement and forum interaction has been very helpful. Watching others progress in their own guitar journeys has been inspirational. I look forward to the 90-Day Progress Parties and each Acoustic Tuesday.
TAC has enriched my life and I am excited about having my “best acoustic life” long into the future.

That’s great. And a Lifetime is a good investment. 360 days is a thing of beauty. It shows you mean it. It has been good having you in the Community. Onward we go.

The 360 days surprises me. The missed 5 days was when the Wi-Fi didn’t work during my vacation at the Outer Banks last summer . . . although, still had a guitar with me. Play on @albert_d !

Thank you @Marty69 – for me it’s a big deal. My son-in-law notices a marked difference in my playing from last year to now. I still have a long way to go to keep up with him as he has been a dedicated guitarist since age 12 (performed professionally in his 20’s) and just had his 36th birthday. He has accumulated many drool-worthy guitars over the years.
For a birthday gift I got him Eric Clapton’s “Six-String Stories” book detailing the guitars “Slow Hand” has had in his guitar journey. The book is exquisite (at least in the mind of guitar geeks).
Appreciate each of your forum plays and comments!

Thank you @Guitargeezer-Jack You are lucky to have your son-in-law to play guitar with! I still can’t find anyone around here that wants to play. Some have seen my videos on Youtube and feel a little intimidated. I keep telling them, I’m still learning. I’ve played with other in the past and that is how I learn and try new things. Now that things are starting to open up, I am going to look into a jam night at a music store in the next town over. Have to call to see if they are back to doing them. 😊🧙♂️😎

Perhaps we North Carolina guitar geeks can get together at some future time. Mike G., who has helped me navigate TAC and encouraged my participation in VOM, and I had an introductory meeting a few months back. Hoping to repeat that.
