Great performance @Marisa ! Great rhythm playing and super vocals. The song is very well suited for your voice. I also like how relaxed you were in your performance. You could tell you were comfortable and really enjoying it – that helps us all enjoy it with you! 🎶🎸😎

Wow, Marisa, that was awesome! As others said, you seem so completely at ease with being in front of the camera, and letting yourself get totally immersed in the performance! Something for me to aim towards, I always feel so “wooden” in front of an audience. I agree that you made Janis Joplin’s spirit come through in your vocals – and that was some pretty fine strumming, too😃

@Marcia I absolutely concur with all the above accolades! It was in the late 1960s when I had the great fortune to attend a small gathering concert featuring Janis Joplin (and Big Brother & Holding Company). Better yet I stood right in front of her at the stage. She was the most powerful raw emotion vocalist I ever witnessed.
You captured that emotion.
