Posted by CaliBob on August 15, 2022 at 4:01 pmAfter almost two years with TAC and 400+ playing sessions I’m finally posting a video! I’m sure Tony’s exercises have helped my finger independence and finger style picking technique.

Thanks for the ‘heads up’. Think I’ve now made it public?

Very nice job! Such a lovely piece of music, too. I was especially impressed with how you emphasized the bass line and gave the melody notes a lighter touch. Is that easier to do on a classical guitar? Congrats on making your first post – I’m hoping to get brave enough follow your example before too long.

@CaliBob that was pretty impressive!!! It looks like you’ve got this piece memorized which isn’t easy, and you’ve got some awesome tremolo happening as well. A classic piece, played with much emotion. Nicely done!!!!!

Very nice! I think that is the first time on time I have heard that and seen a classical guitar. Thank you!

Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback. I enjoy the classical pieces and I find the TAC exercises to be very helpful for building technique. My classical guitar is a Dieter Hopf, it was built in West Germany in 1975.
I look forward to posting more videos (now that I’ve figured out how to do it!) up next will be a John Prine song on my trusty Taylor guitar.
