Pancho and Lefty

Hi everyone This is my first ever post/comment. Im a relatively new member of TAC and recently made a commitment to visiting more often and doing the daily challenges. Been playing for about ten years and so like many on here came to guitar later in life. Really love Tony’s style and his methodology, and also how positive and supportive this community is. Ive learned tons just in the last few months, especially after completing fretboard wizard. My overall goal is to take my playing to another level, to make steady progress and enjoy the journey. Another one is to get out there more….big deal for me as Im kind of shy and haven’t really played much in front of others…still mostly stuck in the basement lol. To that end, here’s my version of Pancho and Lefty, my favorite Townes Van Zandt song. Enjoy your day. Braden

👏👏👏 @Braden . That was a finely polished rendition – nicely played and well sung🎸 You’re beyond ready for the VOM’s (virtual open mic’s – done via zoom). Hope to see you there someday👍

Very well done @Braden A great tribute to TVZ. You are already using techniques taught within TAC. Suspect you will quickly grasp the more advanced ones offered by Tony. You joined us at a great time as Tony is revising his format by often applying familiar songs to weekly lessons. Wonderful to have you along with us Braden.

Hi Braden,
That was great. I didn’t know the song but really liked your version. Vocals and articulation of fingerpicking was spot on. Please take that step and do some open mics/clubs/coffee houses. For sure you are ready and there is an audience out there just waiting to hear you. You will love it.
