No need to feel silly @Bill_Brown . If it was obvious, we’d all “get it” , that is all of it, right from the start. There is nothing on the guitar that is complicated once you “get it”, but still we didn’t get it for a while.
The best insights are the ones you find on your own. This was a great light bulb moment and I think you should feel good about it and it is/was definitely worthy of a small win posting.
