A Song for Love to say goodbye
Hi Fellowgeeks,
After 4 years I am signing of here, as my subscription expires in February.
There is so much about this crazy, virtual place, that makes me humble and very grateful to have been a part of it. But it is time to move on and maybe my guitar journey will lead me back here or towards some of you fine folks I have met here.
My farewell tune is an oddball, a classical piece called canzone damore (love song) by Maria Linneman, that I have been working on the past months with a classical teacher. Not perfect, but it comes from the heart.
So thank you all, so long and play on!

Fantastic performance @ErikBog ! Beautifully played – very smooth and great intonation and feeling. What classical guitar are you playing? For such a small guitar , you get fantastic volume and sound from it.

Thank you Lorraine, it’s a jellinghaus replica of a Torres modello 77. Torres was a Spanish builder who more or less defined guitars as we know them today. Very small (scale length is 24 inch, weight close to 1000 grams spruce over maple, French polished) and it just looked at me like a little puppy ( or kitten) which made it hard to put down.

That was so well played @ErikBog 👏👏👏 You and your guitar made some beautiful music with that piece – excellent👍👍 I guess that after 4 years, you reach a point and have to ask yourself, “What else can TAC do for me?” I see that you’ve reached that point and have come to a decision – a decision that only you can make. I wish you the best for your journey moving forward, you will be missed here in TACland.

Simply beautiful. I would say TAC seems to have done it’s job if you gave got to this point. Have a great trip as you continue. Are you on any of the VOMs? That would be a great way to inspire others and kerp in touch with the TAC community. Fare thee well 🤘😎🎸
