On Tony’s challenge today I had to use a flat pick and pick a note with a finger for the first time. I think this is chicken picking . Not sure. It was fun since until a month ago I had never held a flat pick

When I did todays challenge, I finger picked because, to me, my playing was more fluid and smooth – sounded so much better (to me). I can do the pick no problem, but not with the fluidity I get with using thumb & index😱 I guess that makes me a bad boy (LOL)🤣

  I’m from the 60s and before so that makes me a bad boy too. I’m forcing myself to use a pick just so I can “add another tool to my toolbox” (which isn’t very big in the first place).😅

Great win @Mrfredsporty . It’s beneficial to know how to flatpicking, as well as fingerpick.
