  • Auld Lang Syne

    This is an arrangement of Auld Lang Syne from the old Songbook that Tony put together. I recorded this last January on the old Stella 12 string. I think I posted it back then, but since the format change, I can’t see that far back. I am thinking of selling the Stella since I don’t use it much; but then question that as it has it’s own unique sound. This is a simple, but beautiful arrangement, and the tone of the Stella fits it nicely. Still, I may let it go. The question is, will I regret it?

    Very nice! It sure has a unique sound. You probably would regret selling it, especially as you’ve taken the time to master 12 string, and that is a huge achievement.

    Nice performance with the Stella @Philb 👍👍 She sounds really nice, it’d be a shame to loose her. You did 16 Tons with her didn’t you? Do you have your eye on another guitar, is that why your thinking of selling? Or are you trying to clean your closet? If you’re looking at another guitar, then OK, but if decluttering – then you should keep her (IMHO)😎

    @MarkD66 Thanks for listening. Glad you enjoyed the sound. I should use it more often.

    @solitaire Thank you! It is unique sounding. I am not really very experienced with it, but do enjoy it when I play it.

    @Bill_Brown Thank you! Yes, I did 16 Tons with it. I was thinking of selling it as I have put a limit to how many guitars I will have (3), since I just play for myself mostly; and was thinking of getting something I would pick up more.

    @stevieblues Thank you much!
