The after video is much smoother. Nicely done, and keep up the good work!

Kay that was beautiful playing and great progress on this song…just loved it. And thanks for the links, Blackbird is another one of my own to do list so you have inspired me like so many do on this forum🙏. Looking forward to hearing you sing it also! Keep on playing and posting…picking up the guitar was a smart move a year ago…good decision👍😉

Thank you so much Braden. I’m still working on the timing. Hopefully once I get that under my fingers I can try to start singing – which will be a big but wonderful step. Much appreciated.

That’s one I’m not sure I have the courage to tackle! Amazing to hear how this is coming on. Keep it up. It is sounding awesome and well done on the TACiversary.

I love how this thread just keeps popping up! When I see a new post on this thread– I sometimes go back and re-listen to your performance of this song, and get reminded of just how well you do it.

Since I first saw your video, I have monkeyed around with that song– it is easy-sounding, but tough- at least for me! There is a LOT to remember………

You know, you could treat us to an even newer update😀– just sayin’!

Thanks for the inspiration. I downloaded the structure parts, and trying to play it as often as I can. This song was always a goal when joining TAC…but I came to believe that it was beyond my reach. .I love this easier version and doing finger stretches really helps. My 1st TACiversary is in 3 mo. Hope to be able to post by then.

I hope you will post an update….just to show that with the work it’s possible to play.

Wow superb Kay, and what a difference between the 2 videos. Thanks for
the link to Sean’s site – it looks like a great resource. I’m gonna make
this version of Blackbird my weekend project, starting this week

Thanks so much for posting. I downloaded those tabs and I’m working on it (every commercial on the TV). I feel like my husband’s gonna learn it before I do as I play it so much). My budgie loves this song, and flies to my head whenever I play. lol I started by using my ring finger. It was so slow and hard I decided to use my pinkie to give it a workout. Got a bit of a callus, but did go back to using my ring finger and my reach has improved. My goal is to be able to play (without looking at the TAB) by my first TACversary.
