Nice and melodic playing around the three chords, @Jonathandavid . There was a part that reminded me a bit of a “Lord of the Dance” melody in there. I haven’t thought about that song for ages. Not sure you know it, but I think I’ll look it up and work on it for St. Patrick’s Day 🍀!

Thanks charlie_d. I do know and like the song Lord of the Dance, but any resemblance was unintentional – though that melody does comes off pretty easily if you play around on open C and G – I just tried it.

Agreed @Jonathandavid ! There was just one quick passage you did that made me think of that song. I had fun looking up the history of that song as well finding the melody is from an older tune called Simple Gifts and the lyrics to both songs are interesting as well as the tune.
