Diamond In The Rough (an original)
This is a tribute to my dad who passed away about 4 years ago. He wasn’t given much of anything to work with, but made a lot out of it, was compassionate and generous, and a great man. For about two decades, after my mom passed, we talked on the phone daily, just 5-10 minutes; even if it was just about the weather. I got to know him a lot better.
I cannot sing well; and this is a pretty basic use of chords and strumming; but I wanted to do this as I remember him, and hope to have an impact the way he did on so many others.
