Dylan Series- Don’t think twice it’s alright
Posted by David on May 31, 2021 at 10:55 amThis is the first Dylan song I learned and it’s still a favorite.

Thanks @david. You always do a great job but what struck me so much on this song was the complete comfort you showed. You were in command the full way through and it was evident on you. Really good.

Good observation David. This was the first song I put to memory and now I can play it with muscle memory. I don’t have too many like that unfortunately. Thanks for listening!

Ok @david I’ve really enjoyed your Dylan series and tried not to be too superfluous but I would love to be able play and sing along to Dylan songs like you can and am making a real effort to learn the guitar as a life long beginner. In an attempt to answer your plea for more people to join in here is my effort (go easy) at the start of this song still a lot more work to do before you add me to the list of names celebrating bobs birthday 😂 here is my try at learning a song that isn’t a polecastro arrangement
I think, although this changes daily my favourite Dylan song is “I was young when I left home”. I heard a female artist I can’t recall the name recently cover this and it blew me away. I also saw a female Swedish artist who went by the moniker idiot wind who did such moving versions of her own songs but she also did a version of idiot wind which I found so inspiring it struck a chord and moved me to pick up the guitar at this later stage of my journey ✌️
