Father’s Day: Gift of Music
Just finished a 2 hour jam session with my oldest son. For father’s day he gave me the gift of music and promised we would jam together once a month. What a joy it was to play with him. He plays mandolin and we worked on two bluegrass jam songs for an hour each. Cherokee Shuffle and Irish Hornpipe. Both of these songs are fantastic jams and I could play them for hours creating all the details and nuance. I am still floating. Music is a gift and the gift is the music. I am tallying this as a Small Win for sure.
