Feel-good moment
Posted by the-old-coach on December 27, 2021 at 6:54 pmMy small win was that when my 16-year-old granddaughter was at our place for Christmas, she told me she wants to learn how to play guitar.
For me– that’s good stuff right there.😀

It is a great feeling when someone else wants to join in on an activity you are passionate about but especially a family member; and a teen!?!?
That IS good stuff right there. A true blessing.
Thanks for sharing Mark.

My fingers are crossed!
However, teens seem to change their minds “as often as I change my shirt”.
She’s a bright girl and a hard worker.
Parallel(?)– She had never swung a golf club until 2 years ago, but worked hard at learning all the swing mechanics, rhythm, and movement, had a blast doing it, and made the varsity team as a freshman at one of the biggest high schools in the Seattle area.
I really hope she wants to learn guitar. I’m gonna give her a “light” call in a week or two to see.

This is GREAT STUFF! I’ve had 3 grandkids express interest in guitar (thus I’ve given away 3 guitars) with mixed results so far, but the seed is planted. Hoping for a “post-covid jam someday. 🙂

That would be awesome. You- (ALL)- would remember that for the rest of your lives- (even the little ones!)
