Had a goal to do this within 90 days and easily finished it. Lots of cool info in this one, stuff I hadn’t been exposed to before. Will definitely be going back through to brush up on stuff I got wrong.

Congrats on completing FBW. Glad you had some lightbulb moments and learned a lot of new skills. It is definitely a course to be revisited, and I pick up something new everytime I go through it. Keep up the great work @GuitarGeni !

I hear it is really good so well done for blitzing it. Can’t sign up for it at the moment and Tony said at the 90 day progress party that they are totally revising it based on TAC family feedback. So I’m hoping Fretboard Wizard 2.0 will be available in the summer. 🤟😎🎸

I already a knew a good chunk of the theory so that was pretty easy. What is really helpful are the exercises in how to find the key to a song, figuring out the chords in a song, etc. Really simple ways that I hadn’t been exposed to before.

      I highly recommend it!

Congrats @GuitarGeni 👏👏👏 I love FW because the way Tony teaches and the way he takes the mystery out of a lot of the subject matter. And every time I go through the course again (3 times now), I find new tidbits of useful info that I didn’t see clearly at a previous time, but there they are – plain as day💡💡💡🤩💡💡

Have you made your declaration yet?

Hi @GuitarGeni , in March of 2021 (before you joined TAC) the site under went a format change – you may have heard others talk about “the old Forums” etc. Well back before the format change when I finished FW, in order to “graduate” you could 1) post your performance of the song that you wrote as your “final FW project”, and/or 2) simply post a video declaring yourself a Fretboard Wizard. Some people did both in the same video. Any ways, you didn’t get the FW badge until you posted a video in the Forums. So that’s what I’m referring to when I say “declaration”. With the new format, there are no more “badges”, but I would have thought there would be some kind of requirement to post in the Forums (which you have done) a declaration that you are a “Fretboard Wizard” (which you have not done – yet). So don’t be afraid to say (post) it here and now!👍🤩👍
