  • Hacksaw Improv

Ok, here is a rough take of what I came up with for this week. I dropped the backing track. What I played sounded good with it but, I believe I am playing in a different Time signature and was having issues making the changes line up. I don’t think I can call this an improv anymore, it is more of a planned composition based off the backing track. I need to work more on putting it all together and playing it cleanly. I hope you like it.

That’s a really beautiful little piece. Sounds almost classical in isolation. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice piece of music, @Topher 👏

It is a bit hard to decide whether it counts as a proper improv without the backing track, and you venture quite a bit outside the the B- and E-strings, but you seem to stick to the C scale, so I am satisfied 😀

Yes I did venture if the 2 strings, however in the last few months Tony also had us doing C Scales up and down the A and D strings and D and B Strings, so one he added the B and E, I only needed to figure out the G.🙂
