Have you done any of the “Jumpstart” courses in the Skills section @Mrfredsporty ? If not, that’s where I’d point you to next. You can start the Daily Challenges at any time you want, but I would urge you to continue with the courses in the Skills section at the same time. Just my 2 cents😎🎼

Thanx Bill. I think that is the area I will start. As you recommended the jump start followed by everyone of the skill courses. Then the daily challenge. Something like that

You can start the daily challenges whenever you like. It seems intimidating to start (at least it did to me) then I realised you do not have to perfect them or even play at a certain speed. Just try to follow along for 10 mins or so. Gradually what happens is the techniques start to seep into your playing by osmosis. You won’t even realize until two or three months down the road you start to get a few more easily. It’s my one year this weekend and I cannot believe where I am just by turning up each day even if I can’t get something. The process works if you hive it time. Best of luck and welcome to TAC. @Mrfredsporty I recommend you check out Darren’s (@Moonhare) video documentary detailing his first-year journey with TAC. I recommend you check out Darren’s (@Moonhare) video documentary of his 355-day journey with TAC in the “Small Wins” or “TACiversary Stories” forums. Be consistent (playing at least 10 minutes a day) and have fun with it!

    Hello @Mrfredsporty ,

The 30 Day to Play is an introductory course. The other skills courses can help you in specific areas to move ahead faster. But the real meat and potatoes of TAC is the Daily Challenge. As Darren @Moonhare mentions, it is not the aim to master these lessons. The Dailies give you something to work on every day and cover the range of guitar skills throughout the week. Over time you will notice you guitar skills improve across this range of skills. When the lessons come around again, you will do much better, including lessons you felt were way over your head and you didn’t practice or think about anymore. The process really works.

But before you jump into the Dailies, Tony has a 5 day program designed to help you understand what these daily lessons are all about. It is the 5 Day Guitar Routine Challenge. It is one of the Skill Courses. I have provided a link below.

    I hope this helps.
