Iv’e Seen the Light.
Posted by Wazzo on June 19, 2021 at 2:14 pmEven though I have been part of TAC for just over twelve months this is my first week of completing all the daily challenges. While not having them all down pat they are a work in progress and each has a specific purpose.. I have decided, I’m allowed to have enough time in my day, to spend ten or twenty minutes with Tony, who wouldn’t, he is such a fun and talented teacher. I love singing, but I want to complement that with better guitar playing. I know its up to me and start practicing properly most days.

Very cool! I’ve only been a member for about 2 1/2 months but enjoy watching the lessons. I’m still working my way through the 30 day challenge after 2 1/2 months but I’m almost ready to move on. I just got through watching the latest daily challenge and am going to give it a go. I really didn’t feel able to participate in the last month of daily challenges because they were focused on finger picking (one of my goals) and I’m still learning how to pick with a pick :). I have been consistently playing every day but had a two day lapse due to international travel. My wife and I just moved to Okinawa Japan and that set me back a few days. I hand carried my guitar and gate checked it – much to my surprise and pleasure it made the trip just fine which has allowed me to keep playing.

Hi Terry, welcome to TAC. I hope you get the time to keep up with daily challenges, I know you will see changes. I hope you find living in Japan enjoying and still allowing , you the time to enjoy playing guitar. Cheers for now, kind regards Wayne

Congrats on completing a full week of daily lessons! That’s a great win, and yes consistent practice is essential, and you will see improvement with just a minimal amount of commitment on a daily basis. Keep up the great work!

Hi Loraine, Your support means allot and is very encouraging, hoping you achieve your goals as well in the coming months, kindest regards Wayne.

The daily challenges really build over time. As they start to repeat for me I feel a sense of accomplishment when I find that what I could barely do at slow speed the first time around, a year later I can most often do at normal speed in 10 minutes and even the faster speeds with a little more. And my strength and clarity are much improved. Congrats on finishing that full week. The race goes to the steady says Turtle.

Congratulations Wayne. Sounds like you are on your way to developing a strong habit pattern

Nice job completing daily challenges your on your way! after being a TAC member for 6 months it’s one of my first thoughts in the morning, What is my guitar journey today, I find that things I used to struggle with are coming second nature and the fun factor is increasing, It all started with 10 minutes a day! Enjoy your guitar playing!
