JumpinJeff jammin with Sebastin
Posted by jumpinjeff on May 23, 2021 at 8:29 amJammin with my buddy Sebastien in key of C. Focusing on leading tones, 1/4 tones and trying to think in thirds on the fly. Many successes and some whoopsies I covered up. Context has been a challenge for me, relating to the changes….I am happy with the progress I am making. Getting closer and closer to the sound in my head.

Hey buddy….nicely done. Very smooth. You are inspiring me to work on my improv-ing chops. Thanks for the tip on a nice backing track.

Hey @jumpinjeff that sounds like candy!😍😍 No whoopsies there – just great stuff. As @Loraine said, great undertones – like JAZZ undertones – just awesome tempo and finger work – playing like you’re part of the Sebastian group👏👏👏 Bravo!!!

Whadya mean Fletch? I cleaned up right before I shot the video. ☣😄
At least I didn’t find socks stuffed in my soundhole 🤭
Thanks bud for giving it a go. DTO says I need to do some artful reducing. A nice way of saying, make a two minute highlight reel.

Looked liked ‘Product Placement‘ to me…

Oh… Who am I to argue with DTO…!!

That is really, really nice. I’m going to work with that as a backing track and see what I can come up with. Thanks!

Thanks everyone @Loraine , @Real-Vic-G , @Bill_Brown , @Fletch , @bugmeist , @Marty69 , @Alisa , @Alfred for giving us a listen. Love to see what others could do with Sebastien’s track!!!

Wow! So many ideas, one after another. That was so cool. You made that track yours, Jeff. That was fun to listen to.
