May 19, 2020 I joined TAC. 4 year anniversary
4 years ago I joined TAC on May 19, 2020. (kind of a late posting I admit)
It has been a while since I was last here on this site. (I am a life member so I should visit).
Bought a house (with my son) and now have much more room for all my “stuff”.
Playing music out has become much more frequent and it provides monies for guitars and accessories.
I have progressed in my playing ability which is gratifying and hope to continue learning.
I will try to come back to the site more often and perhaps post some new stuff.
I’m glad I stopped by today, keep rockin’.

Congratulations on your 4th. Playing with others is more fun than remunerative in my experience. It would take a long time to pay for an instrument from tips in Texas. But maybe it’s different in the swing state of Ohio. Keep having fun and drop in or post anytime.

once you get that feel for swing it is hard to not incorporate it into…everything!

Congratulations on your 4th TACiversary Omar. Sounds like you’ve been very busy, and a congrats to you and your son on the new home. I haven’t progressed to the point of performing in public. People amaze me in their abilities to so so in, what I feel, is a short amount of time. Did you have prior playing experience?

Been playing as long as I can remember. I had a large group back the the late 70s early 80s (7 on stage 2 off stage). I guess I do have a lot of prior experience.
