Missed a challenge?
Posted by Gaz21 on May 4, 2021 at 5:52 amHi all. Completely new to this TAC. Just wondering, if you don’t get round to completing the challenge on the set day, can you retrospectively complete it?! Not able to click on May 3rd date? Any tips much appreciated.

Yes @Gaz21 , there are 2 ways to go back to a “current month” lesson.
1) You should be able to click on the lesson name from the Monthly Plan list on the left side of the screen of the Daily Challenge page.
2) While on the current Daily Challenge page, there are grey “forward and backward arrows” located at the top right of the screen. Click on the backward (left) arrow and it should take you back to the previous lesson.

Edit: I found it. Nevermind.
Hi,
I signed up yesterday and it was late so I didn’t do the lesson. I don’t see a monthly plan list on the left side of my page and the challenge from yesterday isn’t clickable.
Am I missing something?

Hi @Gaz21 , @Bill_Brown, Talking about “going back to complete an incomplete challenge,” I have noted a change in behaviour in the last week that I find is an issue for me. If I leave ANY challenge incomplete, the system will not allow me to “complete” any subsequent challenge.
For example, on Tuesday this week, I did not have time to have a go at the Lick, so I did not “complete” it. On Wednesday, I gave the Improvisation my usual 15-20 minutes and wanted to “complete” it but the system did not provide the “Complete” button, saying instead, “Please go back and complete the previous challenge.” On Thursday and today, I have the same issue.
In short, because I did not want to mark Tuesday as complete, I cannot mark Wednesday, Thursday or Friday as complete either.
All I want to do is leave Tuesday incomplete until the weekend (or even next weekend), when I will have time to go back to it. I want to mark Wednesday, Thursday and Friday complete because I feel I have done enough on them and will then be able to see at a glance where I need to direct my attention.
This is how I have always been able to operate TAC but, as of this week, it appears, I can’t do it any more. Without it I don’t think I understand the purpose of marking a challenge “complete”.
I posted this issue in the forum but no-one replying seemed to understand why I see it as an issue.
Then I noticed your posting here and wonder if you think this new behaviour in TAC is OK, or whether, like me, you think it is a backward step?☹
I would love to raise this with Tony and team but have no idea how to do this. Any advice?

@Flongrim I too have noticed this I often do the exercise but don’t mark them complete. Now it seems like it is a requirement as of this week. Not sure if this is just a temporary glitch or the new normal

I have noticed this also. I think the challenges work off each other. I don’t have a problem with it. But, I can see how this could be a problem for some people. If you are out of town for a week, does that mean you have to make up the week before playing the current challenge? looks like it. Also, how does it affect the next month? I don’t know? This might be a question for the “higher ups”.

I can see previous month challenges but cannot click on them, even though they are coded differently (complete and not complete I guess). Are we still unable to access any previous months challenges?

I think that calendar on the screenshot is just showing you which days you played (i.e. pressed on the complete button). It’s not links to the challenges (I think). Go to today’s challenge, start it, you’ll see a list on the left side, you can click the past challenges there.
