  • My Baby Zager showed up

My Zager parlor guitar showed up via FedEx on Friday! I knew that because of COVID it would take a few months (I ordered in March) to get made and get shipped but it is here now. For waiting, they included a really nice hard case, a Zager T-shirt, a leather strap and a few other little things. I love this guitar! I can hardly put it down it plays so nice. It is all mahogany and sounds very bright. I expect it to mellow out over time. It is the prettiest guitar I have ever owned with abalone shell accents around the sound hole. It cost me a little under $700. I talked to Dennis Zager Jr. a couple of times during the months I was waiting and he couldn’t have been nicer. This is a big win for me!

That is so exciting! What an extreme treat that they also sent a case and other items. Cases are not cheap!

    Congratulations!

    play on!

They told me that they usually charge $200 for the case. It is very plush and has a built in humidity meter

As a fellow Zager owner I will tell you to never let the guitar out of the 45%-55% humidity range. They can get finicky.

And even though it is pretty to look at (I have the same model – all acoustic) keep it in the case when you aren’t playing it.

Have fun with it and record something for us!
