I had picked the guitar up many O’ moons ago and as many… I stopped as I felt I would never be as good as I wanted to be. Fast forward to today and I have finally come around to saying this will happen!

1 moment at a time and enjoy the adventure!

Thank you… I am like so many before that I tried learning awhile back, got frustrated (major perfectionist) so that is what caught my eye/ears on Tony’s way of learning…..

Perfectionism kills your joy of playing! But you don’t want to practice wrong per se, just don’t try to learn everything that is mentioned in the challenge. Take a small bite of something and do your best to learn that: one line, one measure or one note – whatever it might be. I always try to take away something from each day I come here.

Enjoy the journey and as everyone mentioned – one lesson at a time, you’ll be surprised on how many small wins you’ll have after one year. Have fun!

@iAmSlayton Welcome to the TAC family! The attitude will get you to your destination. Remember, it’s a journey, not an end all. You will never reach perfection, as it’s like a snowball’s chance in hell – impossible and not achievable. Simply have fun, 10 minutes at a time, and keep moving forward and focus on progress over perfection, and you’ll succeed.
