After a learning with Tony. Since then I have played with guitarists from a variety of genres. But my biggest Small Win is that I got enough courage to take a couple of classes at a community college. Because I wanted to play with people in a group in a live setting. I enrolled in two classes Intermediate Guitar ll and the Ensemble. It was great fun! And I learned a lot. It was a struggle but I did it. I performed in the Guitar Ensemble Concert on

December 3. What an accomplishment for me.

I’m the one second from the left. THANKS TONY!!!!

Congratulations. That is a great win. Playing with others is such a fulfilling experience. At Fretboard Summit in Chicago this year they created a small “mass orchestra” with sections playing multiple parts based on that which you felt comfortable. It can be a hoot and sound amazing with all those strings and guitar bodies resonating off each other. Well done @Sigi

@Sigi I think it’s great that you thought of taking classes at the community college and that they would allow you to play with others. I’m not comfortable playing with others, but I go to local jams at friends, and there are a few TAC members that we’ve agreed to get together locally when the time is right. You challenged yourself, and look at you – playing in an ensemble concert! That would have been so terrifying to me, but you did it and now I’m envious. Do you have a video of the concert? I would love to see it. Anyway, congrats!

@Sigi Very cool – thanks for sharing. I wish I could hav seen everybody’s hands. Was there a piano leading? Or was that someone actually playing the song the entire way through, and everyone playing their, part at different sections? It must be very difficult to get that many people to play in sync. Great job!
