Playing,Singing, and feeling good
Last week I got the tabs and simple version of Johnny Cashes Ring of fire to print out and play on my chromebook ..
After a couple days I decided to play and sing the song for my wife. Im still making mistakes but not letting it get into my head like before and im starting to feel the music. Thats when the magic seems to happen… A girlfriend of my wife’s didn’t have any family in town for Easter so we had her over for dinner… I mustered up the courage to play for her as well…. By the time it was over everyone was singing with me.
I have no idea what we sounded like together but we were all smiling and having fun as my teenager sat around shaking his head at the three of us…..

This is a great win @MarkD66. To start singing and playing is a real accomplishment. You start feeling like you are really doing it. But then to share it. Wow, now that’s really special. And then your wife’s girlfriend? Wow. And I love the part about you’re having so much fun being real that your teenage son is shaking his he at you, instead of vise versa. I just love that. Way to go Mark.
