Thanks for listening and taking the time to respond. -
Great humour and sentiment there, loving the end! Great to see the combination of strumming mixed with percussion too but mostly just lovely to hear something sung from the heart. Happy 70th 🎉

Excellent job, @Philb . I really appreciate the humorous outlook in the song. I also like the rhythmic variation you put in with the stops and guitar percussion. It was really enjoyable and fun.

@MikeGaurnier Thank you so much for listening and the kind words.

You are so welcome, @Philb . I gotta admit to not listening to every single “Play for Us” post. But I always listen to anything original. In my opinion, that’s really the goal for my guitar journey and the ultimate expression of our musical journey. So bravo. I hope you write more. Silly, serious, sad, happy, good, or bad… wait a minute… is there any such thing as a bad song? There are only songs that I don’t like but there are no songs that can be analyzed as “bad”.

@MikeGaurnier
I have seen that you write quite a few originals. I have a lot to work on in that regard. Keep it up.

Thank you @Philb . It wasn’t that long ago that I wondered if I’d ever be able to write songs, at least songs I liked. But 2 years later and a lot of videos and quite a few hours trying to write lyrics and I’m doing it.
You already have a good start. If I can help you in your journey just ask. I’ll do what I can.

Enjoyed your song, Philb! And the punchline made me laugh.

That was great. I really liked the percussion and low E action. I smiled for the entire performance!

@HammerTime Thank you for taking time to listen! Glad you enjoyed it. Surprised me as that was almost two months ago. Time marches on. 😉
