I wanted to record this for my own progress report. This challenge is such a huge onion just waiting to be pealed open layer by layer. I will be putting this in a daily toolbox workout along with a few others. Why? Because this small but powerful chord transitions are full of growing opportunities.

    1. Pinky stretching/strength.

    2. Alternate picking.

    3. Different struming patterns.

    4. New and different chords.

    5. Hammer-on and pull-off’s.

At first I wasn’t going to post this video but after reading all of this week’s post I felt I needed to share this progress.

By all means I do not consider myself a veteran on TAC. But I do remember my ups and downside of all the wins and struggles I was faced with over my last 582 playing sessions. I had day’s were I was ready to give it all up. I even started feeling bad because of the money I was laying down for my music room and everything else. Then I remembered what Tony said about comparing myself to others and that when you are having struggles don’t give up because the struggles means there’s a breakthrough around the corner. This week’s challenge was a perfect example of my struggles. I remembered last time this challenge came around I gave up on the Tuesday part of the challenge and just feel back into my comfortable mode of playing what I already know.

I guess what I’m trying to say, especially to the TAC family members who are struggling today is, DON’T GIVE UP! Find a work around, don’t try to master but use the momentum to move forward. Every challenge has something that you can use to push yourself out of your comfort zone. It’s up to you to find out what that is and do it. So what if you don’t or can’t completely finish the whole challenge, check complet and move on. Trust me it will be back agian. Last thing is the most important!

JUST PLAY GUITAR AND HAVE FUN!!!

    MOMENTUM!

    OVER!

    MASTERING!

Great job @outdoorgator !! This is one of my favorite songs to perform. I like the base strum and the picking.
