I was 14 years old when Johnny Rivers released the song in June 1977. It certainly brings back great memories.

I remember hearing “Secret Agent Man” by Johnny Rivers when I was a kid. I was born in December 1962. Johnny Rivers (born John Henry Ramistella) is now 78 years old. I always loved his style of music.

Nice job @KevinZ
I remember hearing “Slow Dancing (Swayin’ to the Music)” back on the radio in 1977. I looked up the song and I believe this was Johnny Rivers’ last Top 40 hit. I found out a band called the Funky Kings did the song first, and Rivers’ version is a cover. That I didn’t know. Here is the Funky Kings’ version if you want to listen to it. Interesting.

Really love this song @KevinZ , and you had a nice mix of improv with the song. Great job!! I would love to be around a campfire with you playing. That would be so fun!
-
That is all I could ask for @Loraine never been much on being in a band per say just wanted to be able to sing and play music and be capable of many types of songs and sound good doing it around a campfire is one of the main spots at least in my mind that I like to do it the improv soloing is getting to be fun I will try and put some in all my songs going into the future so glad you liked my version thanks for taking a listen and the support
