  • Speed setting Challenge

So, on the old website you could bump the speed BPM and know you had 140, 160, 180, et …. . . Im guessing – this new website design relies on the 1X speed symbol to change speed. How do you know what the BPM is? For example, If 140 is set to 1.5X does that mean 210 bpm?

Hi @Jonesy , IMHO, its just math. Taking todays lesson for example, the 1x speed was 130 bpm. That means the 1.25x speed would be 162.5 bpm and the 1.5x speed is 195 bpm😱. I think it’s easier to use a metronome. I have a free app on my phone from Fender. I’m still learning how to fully use it, but for me, it’s working better than trying to match ridiculous speeds on a video YMMV🤔

The answer to your for instance is “yes” @Jonesy . If the video is 140 bpm and the speed is set at 1.5, then the resulting bpm will be 210.
