    This I week took a different approach than I usually do. Instead of going straight improv, tried to focus on outlining the different chord voicing as best as I could. Definitely need to work on staying with the chord, my fingers want to wander and play nonsense lol

    Oooh, you’re taking bold steps there Layton ( @Lange22 )😱 trying to finger pick around those shapes – very difficult move for an improv. But I guess sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone to make progress and learn👍

    Following the chord progression makes life very much easier, as is clear in the improv the few places where you loose track of the the current chord 😀
    With more practice you will instinctively follow the chord progression.

    A big improvement 👏👏👏

    Nice rhythm there and some nice runs, Lange22! I liked that you weren’t afraid to make big jumps up the neck.
